Fabitin wasn't started in a boardroom. It was started in a machine shop, born from the frustration of seeing great engineering held back by manufacturing chaos.
The Origin Story
I grew up working in my dad's factory. We designed and built industrial food processing machinery—machines that fed millions. The engineering was world-class, and the products were solid.
But despite having a great product, the business suffered.
80% of our time went into fighting fires: unreliable labor, delayed material shipments, inconsistent quality from subcontractors, and logistics nightmares. The actual "business" of innovation took a backseat to the daily grind of just trying to get parts made.
I realized that if we could just "solve" manufacturing—make it as reliable as a utility bill—the entire company would flourish. We could focus on what we were good at: Engineering.
